Yahoo! streaming services provides live internet events streaming for external media clients and internal Yahoo departments. Duties consist of allocating and operating the resources, equipment, and archive space needed to stream live audio and video content over Yahoo’s media distribution network and Yahoo web properties. Content production at Yahoo! involves managing, digitizing, editing, and publishing all types of media for use on client and Yahoo! web properties. IE: movie trailers, news, sports, and TV clips among many others. In-house production studio utilizes professional broadcast equipment in combination with non-linear digital editing systems, by Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere.
